Director of Biopharmaceutical R&D
Job Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the technical direction research and overall planning of the biopharmaceutical research platform, and involved in organizing and formulating the company's technology development strategy.
2. Responsible for the research initiation, application submission, design, optimization, supervision of implementation, and acceptance & summary of the company's biopharmaceutical R&D projects;
3. Conduct timely reviews of project progress and quality, promptly proposing adjustments to ensure the project is completed on schedule and meets high-quality standards. Additionally, take responsibility for managing the strategic layout, filing, and maintenance of project-related patents, as well as overseeing the publication of relevant project-related literature.
4. Responsible for the planning, establishment, daily management of the R&D department, as well as the development and nurturing of team members.
5. Responsible for leading the technical team to independently design experiments, analyze various issues arising during the experimental process, design and guide key technical modules, and take responsibility for safety and practicality, ensuring the company’s product development schedule is on track.
6. Responsible for developing external collaboration initiatives, including engagement with government regulatory departments, industry organizations, companies, and other research partners.
Job Qualifications:
1. A doctoral degree in immunology, cell biology, or a related field, with more than five years of relevant work experience; or having successfully obtained a Biologic Drug IND approval as a key participant.
2. Possesses extensive experience in biopharmaceutical product development and is well-versed in various biopharmaceutical technologies, as well as cutting-edge domestic and international industry trends; also familiar with the relevant policies and regulations governing biopharmaceutical development.
3. Possesses the ability to independently manage projects, with relevant R&D experience in biopharmaceuticals; prior experience with successful projects is preferred.
4. Excellent English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills;
5. Responsible and dedicated, with excellent team management skills, as well as strong capabilities in planning, execution, organizational coordination, and risk control.
