Head of New Drug Marketing and Sales / Senior Manager
Job Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for formulating and executing the company’s nationwide market business strategy, go-to-market plan, and annual sales targets, ensuring successful product launches and rapid market penetration.
2. Deeply analyze industry trends, competitive dynamics, and patient needs, continuously conduct market research to provide decision-making insights for product lifecycle management, pricing strategies, and adjustments to marketing tactics.
3. Build, lead, and motivate the sales team—including regional managers, medical representatives, and others—while overseeing team recruitment, training, performance management, and business guidance.
4. Lead and drive the access negotiation efforts with national and local medical insurance programs, bidding processes, and pharmaceutical committees, among others. Personally oversee and maintain strategic partnerships with hospitals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and research institutions.
5. Establish and optimize the distributor network and retail channel strategy to ensure the commercial distribution and accessibility of pharmaceutical products, manage business partners, and foster stable, mutually beneficial relationships.
6. Closely collaborate with the Marketing Department to spearhead the development of the product’s brand strategy and professional academic promotion plan, as well as to conceive and lead the execution of nationwide academic conferences, satellite meetings, departmental seminars, and other marketing events.
7. Efficiently collaborate with departments such as R&D, registration, and production to ensure timely feedback from the market, driving the generation of clinical evidence and product iterations, while maintaining alignment between market strategies and the company’s overall business objectives.
8. Responsible for developing and managing the annual sales budget, ensuring that all marketing and sales activities strictly comply with national laws and regulations as well as industry codes of conduct (such as RDPAC guidelines), thereby maintaining compliant operations.
9. Establish a sales data analysis system, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), promptly identify issues and adjust strategies to ensure the achievement of sales targets.
Job requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree or above; candidates with a background in Clinical Medicine, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, or related fields are preferred.
2. Candidates with more than 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales management are preferred, especially those who have successfully led the national launch and sales of pharmaceutical products.
3. Possess extensive experience in market access (medical insurance, tendering) and a well-established network of experts, along with robust hospital client resources.
4. Possess experience in building and managing highly effective sales teams from scratch, with expert knowledge of training and management models tailored specifically for pharmaceutical sales teams.
